Steve Verlander joined Mansell Group in 2007 as Chief Technology Officer. His primary focus is to provide the technology direction for the company, manage all software development and oversee the operation of its data center.
Steve has over 20 years experience in software development and has worked on a wide variety of applications. He led the development team responsible for several Delta Air Lines operational systems, including their first Graphical Flight Following system. Before joining the Mansell Group, he managed software development for Learn.net and Highland Software, as well as provided technology expertise to numerous clients in the Atlanta area as an independent consultant. Steve received his B.S. in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgia State University majoring in Information Systems.
He is an avid fan of technology and is constantly learning and testing the latest innovations. Whether he is trying out Google's App Engine by developing an online Masters pool or coding a GPS application for his BlackBerry to provide yardages for his golf rounds, Steve is always keeping up with the latest in technology.
Steve is an Atlanta native who volunteers with the Cub Scouts and at his church, the Cathedral of Christ the King.
